Shapiro, in her own words...

"BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Sequential Art Diploma in popular Music and Sound Technology from the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts

Medium of choice: colored pencils, graphite pencil, guache

On occasion I can be talked into inking, but I wouldn't say it's what I am best at.
Although I graduated with a BFA in Sequential Art (fancy term for Comic Book art) I'd say I am really an illustrator. I never really did consider myself a serious sequential artist, I did though like most kids like to draw little comics with a character I had copyrighted when I was 14, but being 26 now I have had some major reservations about my skills as a professional comic book artist and consider myself to be a professional illustrator."

Some details about my drawings:

The dimensions of the works range from 11"x17" to 18"x24" and are composed using either graphite pencil or colored pencil.
